Uratha of the Tribes of the Moon

I call out to you today to ask you all for assistance to deal with a threat to us all. I have talked with some of you privately about this matter and have met many of you over the years. Regardless of how you feel about me please hear me out. There is a large colony of what all evidence shows to be Zi'ir. The broken souls. They are in such numbers that no pack or lone protectorate could contain them. They threaten us all now, by breeding amongst themselves, kidnapping any humans for the same or food. They use Silver. If we do not act now the herd will find them and we will all pay the consequences. I ask that all that are willing and able please come and help put down this threat, find why they fell so it may never happen again. Together we have the means; all that remains is to see if we have the will.

I have arranged a meeting place for us to gather in an old scout hut in Otterburn 2 miles from their entrenched borders. If you have any supplies for distance fighting or resisting outside mental influence, Please bring them. Luna Martyr the local alpha and leader of the white hunt has a store house of lore that she is has happy to share to those who is if you feel you cannot engage in this conflict directly. I have laid plans and prepare for this for months as some of you know. By the precepts of honour and purity we need to do this no matter how distasteful. It is the right thing to do. It is the necessary thing to do.

Sunday

To the White Hunt

We all swore to something greater than ourselves. We swore to something greater than ours packs and our territories. We swore to rid Dartmoor of The Bale and yet many people sit in their territories and do nothing. They do nothing no matter how I ask. They do nothing no matter how this spreads across our country. So now I order. I order those sworn to the White hunt to attend me immediately after the Gathering at Otterburn as I know you all as good Uratha will attend. We will discuss the things that need to be done before our final assault and we will move forwards in the eradication of the Balehounds from Dartmoor.

Action

The option is there for people to go out and fight the battle, it will be a hard one, but that is what scouting is for.

Character Development

The players should be asking questions about why people choose their actions - and at what point they go beyond being able to be saved.

Darkness

PC's will only die from PC mistakes. The area is known to be dangerous - people and Uratha have died there...

Drama

Social interaction, and group based problems come with there own pomp and ceremony along with dominance.

Intrigue

They are probably bigger or more numerous than you are and they are dug in, negotiate or be lucky. That and sometimes fighting will just make it worse.

Manners

Entirely player driven, 'the low must honour the high, the high must respect the low' - but does everyone still play by the same rules?

Mystery

All of the information is available to you, you just need to find it, and work out what it all means.

Pace

Moderate pace, but slow and steady gives everyone an ability to join in with their special talents. Having the game split over two sessions allow more room for each half of the game.

Rules

Werewolf: The Forsaken uses White Wolf's World of Darkness and The IoD's Fan Club Rules Addendum to Werewolf: The Forsaken Pre generated PCs will be available if you contact the lead ST no later than a week before the Convention starts. These characters will be provided with reasons to be at the IC event and be given plot lead-ins to ensure they have reasons to interact with the other characters present. These characters will be made at MC1 unless your MC details are included in your contact. Essence Gathering: Essence in this area is in short supply, the local spirits aren't enough to supply you, and there are few loci, essence scores are generated by card draw (10 again rule). For this game Pack and personal loci are effective as normal if used before travelling. Characters can carry an extra amount of essence in the form of Touchstones equal to there Primal urge if they have access to the ritual themselves or a member of there pack has it (e.g. Primal Urge 3 would have 3 essence stored in touch stones) (or the equivalent in portable Essence using other means). Essence may be available from the local Packs but that is for you and them to work out privately.
