Isles of Darkness Venue Style SheetPilgrims of all Paths, Old Friends and New Aquaintances A long time ago, back in the annals of English history there was a small fishing hamlet that belonged to a town called Walton in Suffolk. This fishing hamlet proved to be a tactical location for defending against naval invasion throughout the years and slowly the hamlet grew so much that Walton was actually subsumed by it. This city is now known as Felixstowe. Or at least, that's the story that the spirits told me all those years ago when I first started my journey towards the new dawn. My story began in Felixstowe, consisted of places all over the world and fittingly, I hope that my story will now end in Felixstowe as well. As such, I'm throwing a Biker Bash. Biker's from all over the country are going to be coming down for a big old party in Felixstowe in order to me to say goodbye to them. And I want to say goodbye to all of you as well. When the party ends for them, the Party for us will start. So come along, bring your friends and your family, bring stories and bring beer. I refuse my last ever party to be miserable and I hope all of you come along to share it with me. And maybe while we're all there, I can make sure that some closure is gotten for some of you and for a particular lady-friend of mine. Yours, Rogue. Ulgan of Albion Ratings Breakdown
Action: 2Whilst the reason everyone is meeting is a party, more often then not in the rag tag society that the prometheans try to hold together at the seams there is conflict, wether from an outside source or friction caused between party guests. Action is considered low due to the friendly setting, however things can allways go wrong... Character Development: 3When prometheans get together in a relaxed setting they often feel like they can be less paranoid about themselves and more open. Talking and sharing stories is almost a ritual for them and the telling of the ramble is a sacred and respected act amongst prometheans young and old. In addition to this, an old promethean who feels like his time is coming to an end wants to share his stories with people, drop a few bombshells into the laps of listening ears and offer up advice where it would be welcomed. Darkness: 3Theres a lot of history along the cities and streets of england, and no history is as dark as the shadows of the UK. Felixstowe was chosen for a reason – the place the party is being hosted has allways been considered haunted for as long as anyone can remember. What secrets lie in the place between the worlds for the inquisitive and the foolhardy? Drama: 4Someone that a lot of people like and trust is saying goodbye. But more importantly, why is he saying goodbye? And what does it mean for everyone else when the information becomes more apparent? Tears may be shed, cheers may be made. If all goes to plan, it'll be an emotional party... but then again, that's never allways a good thing... Intrigue: 2Last chance to get everything out in the air, or so the host thinks. Intruige will be low except for a few specific cases which may be brought to light during the festivities. Manners: 2Lets face it... When do prometheans ever behave properly? With no strict rules on behaviour set by the host practically anything and everything may happen during the party. With so many conflicting opinions and world views, can everyone keep their tempers in check? Mystery: 4England has many secrets and due to the throng that Rogue was once a part of he knows a good deal of them. As a constant traveller on the roads he's found many interesting things on his journey that he wants to share with people who may be able to unlock their secrets where he couldn't... Pace: 3Stories begin, stories end. This meeting will be no different as the weavings of fate bring various stories together in close proximity. Some issues may be dealt with while everyone is together and some issues may be brought to new light... ThemeEndings and Progression. Could Rogue mean that his Azoth is finally dimming and that soon he will cease to exist, or is he close to the New Dawn? With the presence of someone so close on the boundaries to potentially either path how will the other prometheans react? MoodWith the revelations given by Rogue, how will the characters react? Jealousy or Pride? Will it inspire them to try harder, make them desperate as they realise time is shorter then they thought? There is no specific mood to be evoked by the game as everyone is likely to react in their own unique ways. SettingHistorical Felixstowe! Felixstowe in the real world is a lovely little coastal town of the variety only england can provide. In the Promethean Chronicle the coastal town quaintness is still present, but everything feels a little more hopeless, a little bit more distant. The Chronicle Felixstowe has a hidden sordid past just waiting for characters to stumble into it...
